Amed
Amed
Amed is a scenic village stretching along the coast with a magnificent view of Mount Agung, Bali’s largest volcano. It’s located in the north-eastern part of the island, about 100 km from the Denpasar airport.
Amed area has some exceptionally beautiful coral reefs, a tiny shipwreck covered with corals (Japanese wreck) and is a fantastic spot for Macro and Muck diving. The conditions in Amed dive sites are generally calm with warm water and good visibility making it suitable for all levels of divers. We reach the dive sites off the shore by a small traditional boat called Jukung (adapted to diving and snorkeling).
This is a full-day trip, we will pick you up around 7:30am from South Bali. The drive will take around 2.5h through the heart of the Balinese jungle. The journey is incredibly picturesque as we’re passing lush hills, mountains and rice fields.
